Traitors Ireland co-winner Vanessa says she is "absolutely proud" of her performances at the show’s often contentious Round Table banishment meetings.
During the course of the 12-episode run, there were various occasions – most notably when Joanna was banished, despite being a Faithful – when emotions ran high.
Following Tuesday’s decider, the five finalists joined sit-in host Dermot Whelan on The Oliver Callan Show on RTÉ Radio 1 to reflect on their time on the hit show.

Talking to Vanessa – who shared the winning prize with fellow Faithfuls, Kelley and Oyin, Dermot wondered what it was like to look back at highly emotional moments near the end when the girls were having a go at each other.
He then asked if she might want to have done things differently.
"No," she insisted. "I’m absolutely proud of how I dealt with that situation, because we were acting on a lie that we knew was a lie.
"It was nothing personal – obviously, the outcome wasn’t great, but I do think that if one of them was a Traitor, the narrative would be completely different."
"The same we went after Andrew when he was caught in a lie," she added. "But watching back, I didn’t raise my voice, I was clear in what I said, I was just trying to get my point across.

"Yes, it was highly stressful – but I was not disrespectful to the people I was speaking to... Nothing was about the people, it was about what we believed was said."
During their conversation, Kelley was asked by Dermot if it’s easier to be a Faithful than a Traitor.
"Absolutely," she said. "When you’re a Traitor, you have to play a different sort of game.
"Maybe hurt people you don’t want to hurt anyone and you’re so cautious about what you say. Nick and Ben had a few slip-ups!"
Dermot suggested that the only way a Traitor could’ve won would have been if Ben had turned on Nick. Ben wasn’t really buying that.
"It probably could’ve," he replied, "but I knew I was never going to do that.

"From the very start, me and Nick had a close relationship, and he put his neck on the line by taking me in as a Traitor.
"He could’ve had a better chance on his own or by bringing in someone else, but he decided to take me in – so I wasn’t going to backstab him.
"I’d backstab everyone else!"
As for losing out on at least a share of the €40K+ prize pot, Nick admitted that it hurt, but insisted there was more than that to take home from the show.
"There’s a part of us that is disappointed, but there’s also relief that you didn’t have to follow through with the full deceit.
"We were obviously competitive people, so we would’ve loved to do it – but at the same time we were kind of delighted for the girls to get one over on us."

Oyin looked back on her ability to see through the Traitors from early on in the show. "You just seemed to be tuned into some kind of frequency," Dermot said to her.
She replied: "I think it was because I went in there with a strategy and a plan. The Traitors made an example of Dave, when they killed him first.
"I’m actually quite a chatty person. When I saw them kill Dave I thought, that’s how they’re doing it, so I decided that I’m going to just watch people instead of speaking.
"Clearly, if you speak, you’re in the spotlight and they will kill you."
