Actress Joan Sims - known to millions of comedy fans for her roles in the 'Carry On' films - has died.
The 71-year-old star, who appeared in more than 20 of the saucy comedies, died yesterday. A spokesperson for her agent said she had been ill for some months.
She had been one of the last surviving regular members of the cast, which included comic greats Kenneth Williams and Sid James.
Her most recent movie was the BBC TV film 'Last Of The Blonde Bombshells' in which she starred with Dame Judi Dench.
