Former Soul II Soul singer Do'reen Waddell has died in a road traffic accident after a suspected shoplifting incident in Sussex, England.
Waddell was being chased by supermarket security guards on Friday 1 March when she ran into oncoming traffic and was struck by three cars.
The singer, who appeared on the single 'Feel Free' with the British group in the 1990s, is survived by her four year-old son.
