An air stewardess who told a British newspaper that she had an amorous encounter with Ralph Fiennes in an airliner toilet cubicle has been sacked by Qantas Airways.
Lisa Robertson had been suspended pending an investigation into reports she had sex with the actor during a flight from Darwin to Mumbai on 24 January.
Qantas announced today that Robertson's "employment contract to operate on Qantas aircraft had been terminated." No reason was given.
While Fiennes has not commented on the incident, his spokeswoman Sara Keene told News Ltd newspapers that he had been seduced by the airline stewardess.
"She was the sexual aggressor," Keene was quoted as saying.
Fiennes was most recently seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' playing the role of Lord Voldemort.
