American Beauty and American Pie star Mena Suvari has filed for divorce from her husband of 18 months, concert producer Simone Sestito.
A spokesperson for the actress confirmed to People magazine that an attorney filed divorce papers on her behalf in Los Angeles on Friday.
The court papers cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.
Suvari and Sestito married in June 2010 in Italy, after becoming engaged in 2008.
Suvari was previously married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann. They divorced in 2005.
