If you’re a fan of a bit of sparkle, especially around the party season, then Benefit’s Girl Meets Girl is the product for you. This ‘liquid pearl for the face’ is beautiful. It serves as a highlighting product by adding a lovely glow to your face and can be used either on its own or under your foundation.
Although it looks very sparkly on your fingertips, when blended in to your skin it is much more subtle and just adds a hint of a glint on your cheekbones, or wherever you decide to apply it. It’s also got a gorgeous smell.
Although it’s recommended that you apply under your foundation, I found that sweeping a little along your cheeks after applying your foundation made the product a little more obvious, if you want a noticeable sheen on your face.
Benefit products don’t come cheap but if you apply this sparingly it’s likely to last you for a good while and it probably isn’t the sort of product that you’ll wear every single day anyway, more for nights-out and special occasions, so it should last you a while.
