Karen Millen recently held a styling event where they invited six Irish fashion writers/bloggers into their Grafton Street store to take part in a styling session.
They had chosen ten key pieces from their spring/summer collection which we could pick and choose from, along with other items from the store.
The lovely Laura Keohane (who I recognised immediately from RTÉ show 'The Model Agent') was there on the day, along with a photographer and hair and makeup artists.
I put together two looks - the second of which was chosen by Karen Millen for their website.
Both outfits used one of their key pieces of the season - a semi-sheer, pale peach biker jacket with a zip front. The delicate material combined with the tough style of the jacket made a really great combo.
I styled it with a plain white t-shirt, grey city shorts and a gorgeous black leather handbag for the first look.
In the second, I went for a fantastic short nude dress, neutral leather handbag and colour-pop neon yellow heels.
The event was really enjoyable, thanks to the lovely ladies at Karen Millen for all their help on the day!
