In 1973, a landmark decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Roe v Wade secured a woman's legal right to abortion in the United States.
Now, almost half a century later, a leaked document indicates that the majority of Supreme Court Justices plan to support overturning that ruling.
The draft decision is not final but both the potential action and the leak itself have stirred up controversy across the United States.
