Denmark have finally resolved a dispute between the players and their FA [DBU], meaning all of their established stars will be available for the Nations League clash with the Republic of Ireland in just over a fortnight's time.
The Danes were forced to field a scratch team made up of futsal players and pros from the lower divisions in the 3-0 friendly defeat to Slovakia at the start of the month.
That scenario came about because the Danish FA and the senior squad failed to reach a new agreement over commercial conditions.
They did reach a short-term deal that saw the big guns return for the Nations League win against Wales but a full resolution had not been met, until today.
"With the new national team agreement, we want to create a much closer and more trustworthy cooperation where we can develop the sporting frameworks for the relegation team development - but also to develop the commercial activities to increase earnings for both the team and Danish football as a whole," said Jesper Møller, president of DBU.
"We are excited to get a simple and clear national team agreement."
Ireland lost their Nations League opener in Wales and will be desperate for revenge against Denmark, who hammered Martin O'Neill's team 5-1 last November in the World Cup play-off second leg.
